The Dynamo Torchlight with scan Radio is charged by cranking up the rotor of the dynamo. The energy created is stored in a cell capacitor, which powers the light as and when needed.
Every 1 minute of rotation will give you approximately 10 minutes of light.

It is also able to be charged using a 6V adaptor. When fully charged, it is capable of maintaining a service of 6 to 8 hours of continuous usage.
