3C-Link 's 3C-X2-CX4 X2 10GB CX4 Electrical transceivers are designed for 10G Ethernet applications over industry standard CX4 copper cable assemblies, it is a hot pluggable module in the Z-direction that is mainly usable in typical router/switches line card applications. The MT1085 Module interfaces the host system across the XAUI four full-duplex 3.125Gigabaud transmit and receive channels and is managed through its MDIO/MDC interface. On the network side, MT1085 interfaces with standard CX4 cable assemblies using a 4X (8-signal pair) electrical receptacle connector. In addition, they comply with the X2 Multi Sourcing Agreement (MSA).
