Product Details
OnAccess 5024M is a 24-port managed layer 2 Optical Ethernet Switch,
which offers up to 24 100Base-FX ports or a mixture of 12 100Base-FX
ports and 12 10/100Base-TX ports. OnAccess 5024M allows administrators
to configure features, monitor performance, and troubleshoot the switches
using a standard Web browser and SNMP-based network management platform.

This 24-port high-performance smart layer 2 optical Ethernet switch
provides an ideal solution for fiber-to-the-home and fiber-to-the-desk,
and for the applications where the environmental conditions exceed the
reach of CAT5 copper cables. This standard design gives the highest
port density (SC connectors) of optical Ethernet switches on the market.

Features and specifications:
1) Non-blocking store-and-forward shared-memory architecture with an
8.8Gbps switching capacity and an efficient self-learning and
address recognition mechanism enables the forwarding rate to proceed
at full wire speed
2) A mixture of configurable copper and fiber modules to meet the
requirements of various applications, such as FTTH, optical LAN,
Ethernet based DCS and security surveillance systems, etc.
3) 14K / 10K / 8K / 6K address table for auto-learned unicast or static
unicast/multicast addresses
4) 7 trunk groups of up to 4 member ports within 26 ports, with flexible
load distribution control and fail-over function
5) Static priority and 802.1p class of service with 2-level priority
6) 802.1d multiple spanning trees
7) 802.3x flow control for a full-duplex mode and collision-based
backpressure for a half-duplex mode
8) Port-based VLAN and 802.1Q tag-based VLAN with 255 VLAN groups
9) Head of line (HOL) blocking prevention
10) Static MAC addressing and filtering
11) Port mirroring
12) Source-port-based, destination-port-based, and source-destination
-pair-based Sniffer functions
13) By-port Egress/Ingress bandwidth management control
14) IP Multicasting with IGMP snooping and an IP multicast table of 256
entries
15) Broadcast storm filtering
16) Network management:
a) In band: SNMP, Web-based HTTP and Telnet
b) Out of band: RS-232 console
17) Network protocol and standards:
