Girmes Special Textiles (Zhangjiagang) Co., Ltd., established in April, 2002, is a subsidiary of Girmes GmbH Germany and J. L. de Ball Canada. With factories in Europe and North America and a history of more than 150 years engaging in the business of velvet, Girmes GmbH has built a worldwide reputation in the production and sale of velour and corduroy fabrics, and is recognized worldwide for the excellent quality and its 'Niedieck' brand. Today, Niedieck - as the international key-factor and top address for velvet and corduroy, stands for high quality fashion.
Our facility was designed and started up by a team of experienced technicians from Germany and Canada, and essentially all the key production equipment was imported from Germany. Our manufacturing technology and products closely follow those from Germany and Canada. Our operation has been managed by German and North American staff during the startup with a company-wide focus to produce goods closely matching the European and North American standards.
Our products currently serve the apparels, the home furnishing-upholstery and the industrial OEM and retail markets. With excellent R&D and market research capabilities, we constantly improve our products and introduce new products to better serve our customers.
Our mill in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province operates vertically (weaving, dyeing, printing, finishing) using the best imported and domestic fine combed yarns and the latest technology to assure the highest quality standard. With a production capacity of over 3 million meters per year, we are capable of fulfilling our customer orders in a very short lead time. Custom colors and prints are available upon request with minimum quantity requirements.
