Profile
Established in 1988, we supply our range of VCD mechanisms/pickups and DVD mechanisms/pickups to buyers in India, Pakistan, the Middle East, Europe and the USA. We use reliable instruments and production systems to meet our customers' quality demands.
Production based on Sony's standards
We implement the 5S quality system for our 3,000 square meter factory, and employ staff who have worked for Sony. We also use the same equipment Sony have in their factories - such as wire-loop adjusting machines for production and evaluation testing instrument. Our 1,000-strong workforce operate six production lines, with a monthly capacity of 1,200,000 units.
Key components are sourced from Japan suppliers, including ICs from Mitsumi, luminous tubes from Rohm, lenses from Konica and copper sleeves from Fujitsu. A hundred QC staff inspect all incoming components before production, with another 60 staff maintaining quality checks during production.
Six new products annually
Our 20-member R&D unit includes five engineers, which includes five years' industry experience, can release six new mechanisms each year. We have our own in-house molding department, with a staff of 100. To maintain our R&D operations we reinvest up to 2 percent of annual sales (US$20 million) in product development.
