Since being established as a furniture manufacturer in 1980, we have expanded into a comprehensive transnational group engaged in commerce, industry, trade, services and real estate. Our main subsidiaries are Tianjian Steel Furniture Base, Guangdong Tianjian Shipyard Company Ltd and Guangdong Tianjian Trade Development Company Ltd. We are ranked amongst the 50 largest privately owned enterprises in China, and in recent years have won many honors.
Being one of the first private businesses to obtain the right of self import and export, we have become the largest Chinese manufacturer of metal furniture. Currently more than 90% of all our products are sold internationally, with annual export volumes exceeding USD 15,000,000. In order to further develop our international distribution network, we have set up overseas branch offices in Asia, Europe, America and Australia.
Another of our main enterprises is the shipyard we acquired in 1999. It qualifies as a first-class ship designer and is one of the main maritime companies in Guangdong Province. The company is also able to undertake design projects for various other metal structures.
Our trading business focuses on the development and management of large-scale materials distribution. The most important investment the company has made is the Tianjian Trading Plaza, a large circulation and distribution center for decorative materials. The plaza's distribution network has now expanded throughout China.
