Multitek was founded in 1989 in order to make research and development projects in Turkish telecom market. The company's supreme know-how on telecom products enabled Multitek to start its PBX systems production by 1991. In 1999 Multitek launched its new factory and extended its product rage including video and voices intercom systems, enhanced high-capacity PBXs, caller ID devices and telephones.
By today, Multitek invests 7% of its annual revenue to its own research and development activities. The company develops its own licensed-technologies and manufactures a wide rage of telecom products for international market.
In 2002, Multitek was awarded by TESID (Turkish Electronics and Information Industries Association) as The Best Innovative and Creative Company.
